Mediation is a voluntary and confidential problem-solving process that promotes respectful, constructive communication between two or more persons experiencing a conflict.
When persons in conflict cannot resolve their differences alone, mediation provides a framework for sharing each person’s point of view. A specially trained and neutral mediator helps the parties to communicate effectively as they work toward a mutually agreeable and realistic resolution to their conflict.
Organizational Survey and Conflict Assessments
Concord Mediation Center has developed a written organizational conflict survey to use in organizations where conflict interferes with productivity and relationships. Concord Mediation Center mediators/facilitators will review the surveys and assess the findings prior to mediating a dispute between individuals or offering training or facilitation tailored to the issues.
